What is the criteria for inclusion in the directory?

All organizations must either be headquartered in Rhode Island or maintain an office in the State.

During RINexus.com's test period, we are only displaying the profiles of companies that offer information technology and/or digital media products and services.

Note: While at this time we are not displaying the profiles of major corporations, we will be shortly.

My company uses information technology & digital media - why are we not included in the directory?

Since virtually every company today uses information technology and digital media (ITDM), we are distinguishing between "ITDM-enabled" and "ITDM-focused" companies. ITDM-enabled companies use information technology and digital media as "enablers" for delivery of various products & services, while ITDM-focused companies deliver information technology & digital media products and services. In order to avoid being diluted, the directory concentrates on ITDM-focused companies.

And that said, ITDM-enabled companies and the individuals that comprise them are crucial to the success of the sector, and we hope they visit, register, and participate regularly in RINexus.com.

My company serves info-tech & digital media companies - why are we not included in the directory?

As explained in the answer above, the directory focuses on ITDM-focused companies. That said, companies that provide services to info-tech & digital media companies and the individuals that comprise them are crucial to the success of the sector, and we hope that they visit, register, and participate regularly in RINexus.com.

Why isn't the following organization that meets the criteria, not included in the directory?

Will other types of organizations be profiled in the future?

Yes, soon in addition to more companies, we'll be adding relevant colleges & universities, major corporations, non-profits, NGO's, and governmental agencies.

Where does the information in the organization profiles come from?

The text in quotations has been collected from the organization's web site (or another public source) or has been provided directly by the organization itself. Other text has been paraphrased by members of the RI Nexus team.

Can I have you change the information in my organization's profile?

Yes, please - we aim to make the profiles as accurate and useful as possible. Contact us here.

Can I have my organization's profile taken down completely?

Yes, of course. If for any reason you elect not to have your organization's profile posted, contact us and we'll take it down.
