STAC distributes $1.5M for collaborative research

Scientists from Afferent, Applied Science Associates, Bay Computer Associates, Ion Signature Technology, and SubChem Systems among winning teams

Afferent and Bay Computer Associates Drs. are in a team developing high tech toys for rehabilitation for children with neurological conditions like brain injury and cerebral palsy.

Ion Signature Technology Dr. Robert Buco is on a team working to develop computer software for better analysis of mass spectrometer data on complex mixtures, perhaps eading to forensic and health breakthroughs.

SubChem Systems and Applied Science Associates Drs.are working on a real-time undersea coastal observation and analysis network.
