Description
This is a one-year position funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The Senior Research Library Programmer will develop an open source web-based citation parser which will operate with a high degree of accuracy on any free-text (non-fielded) bibliographic data. The Programmer will test and implement the parser on the publication data currently in the Directory of Research and Researchers at Brown, and will make the parser universally available via an API service hosted at Brown.
