Description
The Conference Exchange, growing in Cumberland RI since 1996, seeks an intellectually-curious, well-organized, outgoing person to assist in creating and supporting specialized web sites, online abstract systems, and conference content services. Advanced technical skills are not required. Basic HTML and database experience is a plus. Candidates should have a good work ethic, an analytical mind, an enthusiasm to learn something new, and a genial disposition.
Responsibilities vary from client to client, but generally include:
· Organizing and setting up online abstract submission websites for non-profit professional societies
· Communicating client needs to a team of programmers
· Maintaining healthy client relationships
· Providing technical support, via phone and email, to end users
· Occasional travel to provide onsite support at the conferences

· Be able to anticipate client needs and proactively utilize our customized software
· Have the willingness to ask questions and seek support of co-workers
· A BS or BA degree is required.
