InQuest Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst whose primary role will be working with customers to gather solution requirements, develop functional specifications, process workflow diagrams and then configure solutions utilizing InQuest Technologies IQ9 platform that meets those needs.  The selected candidate will collaborate with customers and InQuest resources to meet established development timeframes and targeted completion dates. As part of the Professional Services organization, you will work in a team environment in the InQuest offices and at customer sites to analyze business requirements and translate them into development specifications. You will also assist in the testing of completed development projects to ensure compliance with documented requirements.

InQuest is seeking a candidate with strong analytical and communication skills who can effectively present proposed solutions to customers and InQuest development resources. A background in asset management, construction management, and/or asset procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist facilitation of requirements gathering through customer interviews  and meetings
• Review business processes and translate to application solutions
• Document design specifications
• Present design documents to customers and development resources Assist in the testing of developed applications
• Interact with development and quality assurance resources to resolve  issues and identify change requests
• Aid in the preparation of user procedures and training guides

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience working for a consulting or software company is preferred
• Experience in software development using Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, extending to requirement definition, testing and implementation
• Bachelors degree in computer science or business
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Strong organizational skills to handle demanding deadlines and simultaneous projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel
