Position Title: Web Production Intern
Pay: This is a paid internship - (hourly or stipend - rate & terms & hours to be discussed at interview).

Embolden Design, Inc. is an award-winning web-development and consulting firm based in Pawtucket, RI. We provide enterprise-level Internet professional services to variety of clients in the U.S., with a specialization in custom application development and comprehensive, highly personalized consulting.

Our well-rounded staff of developers, designers and strategists has the expertise to take on big jobs while providing personalized service, and attention to the small details. We are searching for a paid intern to join our team who has the following skills and attributes:
The Web Production Intern:
- Sets up the architecture of websites based upon requirements specified in the sitemap; creates the pages and navigational structure for websites to provide optimum navigability and usability;
- Prepares, inputs, integrates and formats client-provided and company-generated content – this may include text, images, video, audio, Flash and multimedia assets; applies critical thinking skills to “interpret” this content and present it in such a way so that is visually appealing, easy to read and to navigate, and exhibits all of the “best practices” for presenting web content to a general (or specifically-targeted) audience;
- Provides thorough testing and quality assurance to all work rendered; troubleshoots and rectifies any issues within her technical purview; delegates issues that are beyond her/his capabilities;
- Provides general support to the web production, programming and administrative teams when appropriate.
- Other possible duties according to Embolden's needs and the intern's interest and skill set.
Ideal Intern Qualities:The candidate should ideally be able to demonstrate ample "geek-cred" and an intense interest in all things Web by providing us with a well-executed hobbyist/school/ or work project or two that exhibit(s) this interest in an exciting way. She or he must be able to talk articulately about basic web concepts and even better have a general understanding of the web production process.Note this this position does not guarantee employment at graduation, but it has led to employment for previous interns who made themselves valuable members of the Embolden team.
