Make Magazine is looking for a Django hacker to help us build a database that will be used for internal- and external-facing projects. This is a short-term contract position with the potential for future work.

Maker Media is a division of O'Reilly Media devoted entirely to the growing community of resourceful people who believe that if you can imagine it, you can make it. Manifested in the pages of MAKE Magazine, CRAFT Magazine, and the Hacks book series, and coming to physical life at the incredible Maker Faire events, Maker Media encourages the Do-It-Yourself mentality by providing creative inspiration and instruction.

You can definitely do the work from Rhode Island, and you'll be working with me (virtually, with face-to-face meetings as needed), at least during the initial stages of the project.
