QC2 was started in early 1998 by veterans of the competitive communications industry.

Beginning in 2001 QC2 added enterprise clients to its portfolio and began engineering, furnishing and installing structured cabling solutions, wireless point-to-point and point-to-multipoint outdoor networks, and wireless LAN indoor and outdoor networks.
